Al Mansouriya
Al Mansouriya is a 16th century Arabian palace located in the heart of the old fortified city, near one of the oldest gates of the medina. In an exceptional setting, the totally devoted staff of the Mansouriya palace aim to satisfy all needs and requirements.
A luxurious residence with nine suites, each of which is furnished using a different style, from the Hittite to the Ottoman period & each bathtub is carved in one stone. The main facilities at Al Mansouriya comprise of comfortable sitting rooms to rest and unwind, a library, pretty courtyards, patios, terraces, a Turkish bath and a Jacuzzi to make the most of the incomparable oriental way of life. The materials used throughout the hotel have been specially woven on old frames in Damascus, the cabinet makers have inlaid their wood with mother of pearl, baths and sinks have been carved out of marble, mosaics inspired by thousand year old drawings have been made locally, respecting the traditional colour schemes of Iznik tiles.
