South Africa Drive & Safari
This self drive and safari holiday, gives you the flexibiliy to explore the region at your own pace. With several days in Cape Town it is possible to experience the real flavour of the city, find a favourite restaurant or take a trip to the Waterfront, Cape Point or Hout Bay. The landscape dramatically changes to lush vegetation as you drive through the heart of the Garden Route on the Western Cape. Spend time relaxing on the pristine beaches, visit the quaint towns and villages or take to the water on a whale watching tour. Ending your drive in Port Elizabeth, your are transfered to the Addo National Park. Enjoy three nights in our favourite tented safari lodge taking time to explore the park in search of elephants and lions.

Journey Idea Outline
Day 1: Fly London to Cape town
Day 2 to 5: Collect your hire car. Several days to explore Cape Town's range of bars, restaurants and interesting sites.
Day 6 to 7: Head to Franschoek. Option to drive to the vineyards to see how the famous Cape wines are produced
Day 8 to 10: A scenic drive to the heart of the Garden Route. Staying a few minutes from pritine beaches.
Day 11 to 13: Drive to Port Elizabeth, leave hire car. Transfer to Addo National Park, tented Safari lodge
Day 14: Depart Port Elizabeth to London Via Cape Town
